I don't remember who started this time-warp meme. But i've wanted to do it for a while.

I guess I was supposed to do my kid self too but...um..it's just easier to picture Mowgli from the jungle book. That's more accurate anyway.

Are these making a second round? My friend was showing me hers in illustration class.

I so did the skirt over pants thing too. Usually over a pair of hand-me-down black dance flares. I thought I was being really classy. I do the dress-over-pants thing now, but that's usually to make it more casual, and the pants are then jeans. I am told by a fashionable person that it works?

i don't know...last time i saw one was Ren's, and it just took me this long to do my own.

I was sort of obsessed with looking as grungy/Punk/hippie as my parents would allow which often meant thrift store a-line skirts over roughed up flared jeans with sneakers and probably some hideous sweater/hot topic t-shirt. I've been doing the dress/tunic variation over a pair of straight-legged jeans, especially if they're cuffed, lately too...old habits die hard i guess.
